Fourth of July

I have a few more pictures but something stopped working so they'll have to come later. We went down to Bakersfield for the 4th and it was a blast! Our friends have a huge party each year and we just loved it when we lived thee so we decided to make the trip down to join them again! Macy loved seeing all her friends again...and so did we! I think the dad's always have way more fun with the fireworks than the kids... but they do a pretty impressive job with the 'show'!

So Macy plays this 'shy' card quite a bit with new people, but she flips it around so quickly and the next minute becomes the mature socialite and bouncy entertainer.

It's the shoes

Well, this is three weeks late now but it's still worth a post. Carter is a walking machine! And I swear it's the shoes! We got these shoes for him and he stood up by himself for the first time that same day! It was a Sunday and by the following Sunday he was walking short distances. One more Sunday later and he is now walking all over the place, it's not even a big deal anymore he's so good at it, infact, sometimes he goes so fast he's practically running! Anyway, not at ALL like his sister, Carter has picked up the walking bit like a pro! These are some pics from the first day he started trying out this whole 'walking thing' - sometimes he wasn't so thrilled with al the pressure :-)
