So, this may not be a big deal to most of you out there, but the heavens have parted here at the MacDiarmid home in sheer amazement at my incredibly talented daughter. Try not to let my total bias be any sort of a factor in your evaluation of whether this news is in fact 'awe' worthy... IT IS.
Macy now draws THINGS. Yes, it's true, her immense love for drawing has leaped to a new level, we don't just draw squiggles and lines and circles anymore, no sir, we draw pictures OF THINGS. People to be more precise. Mommy, Daddy, Carter, McKenna (we get alot of McKennas), you name it. They all happen to look alike but let's stick to the point here people, she's drawing SOMETHING that actually resembles SOMETHING!
We're pretty excited over here!

very cute drawings! she's doing great. i was thrilled with Finn's first person.
sugie just started with recognizable people too!! its so exciting. i thought she could only do people, but the other day she painted a sun - circle with little lines poking out - in yellow and everything. it is SUPER exciting, i totally know what you mean.
